A Baby Knows The Best Bottle For Feeding
I must admit to starting out on this parenthood thing thinking that it would not be that different from managing the office. I am a very organized person and attempted to bring the same degree of managerial expertise to my new position as a mother. No matter how much I made an effort to schedule feedings and be sure all the resources I required were on hand this new “employee” was most uncooperative. All I can say is had they been a new worker back in the office they’d have been put on notice within the first 7 days.
When it came to baby bottles I did the research so I thought. There was a lot discussion about glass vs. plastic and if you are going plastic make sure that it is BPI free which all good brandnames are these days anyhow. I picked a bottle set according to my personal research and thought everything would be okay.
From the first day feeding had been an issue. I didn’t have enough milk and the baby appeared to have difficulties with the feeding. On the doctor’s recommendation we have experimented with what has to be a dozen various formulas. We struggled for the first four weeks and the baby was not putting on body weight as she ought to and constantly seemed hungry but rejected the bottle. It was when I was speaking with another mother that I got the best guidance. She suggested I try different bottles
In the beginning I was defensive explaining I had investigated baby bottles and those I was using were deemed amongst the best available on the market. Her reply surprised me. She was abrupt and I would have to state outright impolite. She abruptly said “I don’t care how much investigation you claim you did your baby has a problem and I suggest you remove your head out of you’re backside (actually not the word she used) and worry about what your baby needs”. I was stunned but the reality of what she said hit me and I finally blurted out “I will try what you said”. She nodded her head in approval and said “good” following which we talked about babies for the next hour. I started to take notice of the voice of experience and picked up many tips and ideas.

I decided upon Playtex, Evenflo, Munchkin, Nuby and Soothie and thought if she can’t find a bottle solution among that lot then IV may be the only alternative, okay not a good joke.
Amazingly the 2nd bottle I tried was the one she liked. I am not going to state which one that was for the reason that entire point is you need to find the correct bottle for your baby. Look at all the Baby Bottle Reviews but leave the final decision up to your baby. It still just does not seem logical as looking at them I cannot see why a newborn would choose one bottle over another and how could it affect the feeding process but it does.
