Eliminating Minus Eyes Using Bates Method
Dr William Bates was an ophthalmologist who had died long ago in 1931. The doctors believe many people who really do not need to use glasses trained by her.
Although eliminating minus eyes without surgery is still a controversy, but it proved to many followers of Dr. Bates, who managed to reduce their minus.

This vision exercise aims to educate the eye so they can adjust the focus to be more efficient or it is called ‘central fixation’. Eye muscles must be able to move freely and make small adjustments necessary to focus the object being viewed.
The eyes become strained due to the fixed position ‘staring’ object instead of constant motion. This exercise teaches one to relax the eye muscles and optic nerve and use memory and imagination to improve coordination between eye and brain.
This exercise also helps overcome one’s dependence on glasses. The basis of this therapy is the belief that the combination of body, mind and soul are used to seeing. Besides food, posture, stress and also affect one’s health vision.
As quoted from Eyehealthremedies, Friday (12/3/2010) there are several methods that can be done Bates, namely:
1. Hide
This vision exercises to help the eyes to relax and rest.
Try to sit comfortably at the table and put some pillows to high sejejer eyes. Put your elbows on the pillow and then close the eyes with two hands until there are no incoming cahanya. Breathe slowly, relax and imagine in the darkness. Start doing this for as many as 10 minutes 2-3 times a day.
2. Wiggle eyes
Try to stand up and focus on a distant point, and then toss the ball from the left eye and right or vice versa while blinking 100 times per day. Blinking useful to clean and lubricate the eye.
3. Choosing a color in one day
Choose a different color every day and looked out the color of the selected objects during the day. When he saw a person will be more aware of color than its form.
4. Sunbathing
Try to do this once a day. These activities require a sunny day or a good light.
