Is A Wireless Alarm Systems Superior Than Any Other

Is A Wireless Alarm Systems Superior Than Any Other:

Never ever leave home security to chance, never. It still amazes me the amount of people who neglect the basic level of protection that their families deserve. Everybody seems to leave it until they are broken in to and burgled – loosing valuable and sentimental possession – before deciding to do something about their home security and installing a burglar alarm system ^(http://securemydoor.co.uk/). Why? Don’t be silly and leave it too late, don’t be a victim – act now!

As you’d expect, there is a massive choice of home burglar alarm systems available on the market – and a huge range of prices to go with it – but there are basically two main types of system available: hardwired and wireless. The most traditional system is of course the hardwired version which can be found in commercial properties, homes and other buildings. These systems are generally very expensive though and are time consuming to fit. This is where the wireless version of an alarm system can be the best choice! It’s much simpler to fit and far cheaper, plus it comes with some nifty little benefits. Of course, the main reason for the price difference is the installation costs due to the amount of labour required. To install, wire up and test a hardwired system – it could take several days! To fit these systems you have to channel out walls, lift floorboards etc so that the cabling for the alarm box and sensors can be laid – practically like it you were having your hose re-wired! This all means big disruption to your house.

Of course this can all be avoided should you choose to consider the wireless alarm system. The biggest plus point of these systems is that none of the time consuming fitting is required as with the wired system – as there are no wires! You can get a wireless alarm fitting service which will test the alarm, install, show you how to use it and check the system all within a few hours and at a fraction of the cost that the hardwired systems. Most kit’s come with 3 wireless sensors which run on batteries (more sensors can be added), a box for the outside of your home, a control panel, a telephone dialler (this is used to programme up to 5 numbers into and if your alarm is triggered all numbers will be called to alert you as well as the alarm sounding in your house) & door sensors. The sensors can be positioned anywhere in the home and should you decide to change your mind it’s a simple 10 minute job to change it (the fitters can show you on installation)

There’s plenty of flexibility with wireless burglar alarms – if you decide in a month or two that you a few extra sensors are needed, then it’s no hassle at all. Try attempting that with a hardwired system.
